My wife and I were looking for some bikes to ride the trails with and I'm having trouble deciding between the Yamaha and Hondas. After looking at the other OEMs it really seems that the race is beteen Red and Blue only and I wish Yellow had something in trail trim, but I didn't see anything.
For me I think I would like a 450 and for my wife a 250 should be just the ticket. I see the 09's are identical in price for the 450s |

Did you see the white color scheme for the yz450f? It's awesome!!! Our AA Pro Hare Scramble teammate rides 08 yz250f and he is SICK... But things to think about is adjustability for height, I am 5-4 and the 450 at it's lowest setting for the rear shock is still too high, everytime I crash on the track i have to push the bike to the closest bump or burm so I can get her started again...lol... It's amusing to everyone watching!  But the Team BLUE is my color!!! |

We are trying to get some riding areas in our county using some private landowners so that might take a while, but it will be worth it in the long run. I guess I can wait till spring to see what bikes to get, but I love riding on the ice and we have the local marsh here that hosts a few events every winter.
